Project Overview: This fashion short film is an artistic interpretation inspired by Maison Margiela’s Fall 2023 runway collection. We recreated two signature looks from the show and transformed them into a narrative-driven visual story.

Set in a surreal present, the film follows two teenagers from the 1980s who accidentally time-travel to today’s world. Confused and disconnected, they search for their own shadows—a metaphor for identity, loss, and emotional detachment in a world that feels foreign. In isolation, they find comfort in each other, creating a strange but romantic bond. The narrative explores themes of time, nostalgia, madness, and love—aligned with Margiela’s spirit of poetic deconstruction and emotional storytelling.
